This study examined the relationship between skill attainment by individuals with visual impairments who participated in vocational rehabilitation and the relationship to employment. The skills included the use of an aid for orientation and mobility, reading format, assistive technology, education, and other demographics and the relationship to employment outcomes. The data were gathered from case closure information collected by a state vocational rehabilitation agency in a Southern state. Correlations, chi-squares, and logistic regression were used to analyze the data. The results demonstrated a positive relationship between a higher level of education and employment. The use of assistive technology was also positively linked to employment.en_US
