The purpose of this thesis was to examine the moderating effect of quality and quantity of supervision on the relationship between couple therapeutic alliance and change in couple therapy. The sample is collected from couples seeking couple therapy at a University based marriage and family therapy training clinic. The findings indicate that the therapeutic alliance is a significant predictor for the change in relationship satisfaction in couples from session one to session four. The moderating effects of the quality and quantity of supervision are not significant with the current sample. However, the trends are encouraging for future research. The findings need to be replicated with a larger sample size.en_US
